The Sklavos family has been making wine in Cephalonia for hundreds of years, and the vines are all old and own-rooted, with tiny yields; they're farmed organically with no fining, filtering and just a touch of SO2 used at bottling. This wine, made from the Mavrodaphne grape, offers notes of forest fruits, bay, and a hint of fig.
